Women Talk Dis/Ability, young women with disabilities share their stories on finding work,
coping at school, violence, dating and self-image. Sex-role Stereotyping: An awareness kit for
parents and teachers provides information on how to conduct workshops to promote non-sexist
parenting and teaching. Raising Young Voices: A discussion kit includes a video and three
companion guides (for parents, teachers and administrators) designed to encourage discussion
about gender equity and how to ensure that young men and women achieve their full potential.

As a follow-up to the A Cappella Report prepared by the Canadian Teachers' Federation, the Yukon government carried out a series of focus groups with teenage girls in the north to determine their experience with adolescence. Over 190 young women between the ages of 13 and 19 shared their views on many issues, including violence, relationships with parents, sexuality and substance abuse.
