The Personal Security Index 2002:

(by Andrew Jackson, Spyridoula Tsoukalas, Laura Buckland and Sylvain Schetagne, 2002, 55 pp., #608, $25.00)
Canadians' personal security, based on hard data, improved for the third year in a row according to the fourth annual Personal Security Index (PSI). It reveals a distinct gap between Canadians' perceptions of their financial and health security and personal safety and the "reality." Put simply, it seems Canadians feel less secure than they did in previous years despite improving economic and health data.
