What will this mean for programs like Old Age Security, Unemployment Insurance, Medicare and social assistance - and for the people who use these programs? In June 1993, the CCSD sponsored a forum on the future of Canada's social programs, at which a panel - composed of Lynne Toupin, Tim Reid, Michael McCracken, Nancy Riche, Steve Kerstetter and Monica Townson - discussed and debated this topic from different perspectives. The panel discussion was filmed, and VHS copies are available.
