European Approaches to Long-Term Unemployment

The Employability Resources Network was a 3-year project, running at the CCSD from 1988 to 1991. It was designed to explore methods of enabling social assistance recipients to move beyond social assistance into the workforce. ERN facilitated the networking, promotion, cataloguing and evaluation of employability projects across Canada.
This report is a review of French literature from European sources on the subject of employability. Written by Claude Quiviger as a companion for the Bibliograhie Annotée d'ouvrages choisis sur l'employabilité. This review was written in French and translated into English with both versions in one cover.
