News Release: New Web Presence Launched at the Canadian Council on Social Development
February 11, 2014 – Peggy Taillon, the CCSD’s President and CEO, today announced the launch of a new web presence for the organization – www.ccsd.ca . The site features a new layout and design that supports the CCSD’s new strategic initiatives and approach, and is designed for ease of use by our partners and stakeholders.
“Our new Web site reflects the evolution of the CCSD and positions us for the future,” said Peggy Taillon. “But this is more than a Web site redesign. We have re-launched and integrated our social media into our Web presence, added video and enhanced our accessibility – across platforms and devices. I invite our partners and colleagues to see for themselves.” vTo reflect the focus on users, program access is clearly available from the main page – the Community Data Program and the new Design Collaboratories Program. The site meets current accessibility standards (World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0). Enhancements will continue to be added.
