*Malheureusement, nous n’avons pas été en mesure de produire des statistiques séparées pour les trois territoires en utilisant le fichier à usage public de l’ESCC. Cependant, dans le numéro du 15 juin 2004 du Quotidien, Statistique Canada a publié des statistiques semblables pour la population d’ensemble de chacun des territoires – quoique pas selon le critère d’handicapé ou non. Ces statistiques indiquent qu’il y a des différences importantes dans les territoires, Nunavut (à 29,2%) ayant le plus bas pourcentage de sa population d’ensemble à avoir un médecin régulier, tandis que pour les Territoires du Nord-Ouest, ce chiffre passait à 47%. Le Yukon, à 81,5%, avait encore un pourcentage plus bas que la plupart des provinces (sauf le Québec) en ce qui est de la partie de sa population avec un médecin régulier, mais son pourcentage était nettement plus élevé que dans les deux autres territoires.
