How to reach the University of Ottawa Main Campus
By car
Several roads lead to Ottawa: highway 417 from the east, highways 416, 16 and 31 from the south, Route 7 from the west and highway 17 from the northwest as well as highway 148 (Quebec) from the northeast. If you want a visual representation of the various roadways, consult the following maps:
By bus
The Ottawa-Hull region is served by Voyageur Colonial Bus Lines and Greyhound from bus stations at 265 Catherine Street in Ottawa and 238 St-Joseph Boulevard in Hull. There is a regular service from Montreal to Ottawa every hour. The incoming bus from Montreal makes a stop at the University of Ottawa, at the intersection of Laurier and Waller streets. From the railway station
Train service to the City of Ottawa is provided by Via Rail Canada (1-888-842-7245). The railway station is located in the southeast of the City of Ottawa, at 200 Tremblay Road, along the Queensway.
Ottawa’s public transport service, OC Transpo, (613) 741-4390, is a few steps from the station. A taxi service is also available there.
From the airport
Ottawa International Airport, (613) 248-2125, is located south of the City and can be reached by the Airport Promenade. Bus and taxi services are available at the airport.
Montreal airports, at Dorval and Mirabel (514) 394-7377 or 1-800–465–1213, are another port of entry for international flights. Correspondence flights from Mirabel to Ottawa are also available.
There is a shuttle service every 30 minutes from the Ottawa Airport to the Westin Ottawa Hotel.
