Abstract
Influencing the Policy Agenda: Moving Along the Continuum with Communities

The three papers will address experiences in the policy process related to issues of social inclusion - the homelessness initiative, the skills and learning agenda, and the needs of children 6 to 12. The papers will focus on different components to the policy development continuum including issue identification, community engagement, collective action and the development of policy recommendations. Throughout the papers there will be descriptions on the roles that each level of government and the voluntary sector can and do play.
